Help validate GS2 across real-world users, devices, lighting conditions, and glucose-state timings.
Participant information and safeguards
—
Keep this code. Use it if you contact the campaign team about withdrawal or deletion where feasible.
Purpose: this campaign supports real-world validation across a broad range of participant/device profiles.
What GlucoTrail records: your agreement status, consent version, anonymous participant code, anonymous browser/device ID, access status, access dates, timestamp, and one-way hashed technical details for duplicate/abuse mitigation.
What the study application records: the linked study application handles its own profile, measurement, reference-entry, and dataset workflow.
Not medical advice: outputs from this campaign must not be used to diagnose, treat, dose medication, or replace your normal glucose device or professional clinical advice.
Withdrawal: while access is active, you can use the Leave this campaign button on this page. Your participant code remains visible for reference.
Controller/contact: Miznee Research, sppt@miznee.com.
Simple participation steps
- Complete the User Profile in the linked study application.
- Turn flash/torch on if available and avoid direct bright lighting. If torch is unavailable, use the same bright ambient light for each session.
- Use the same fingertip for each test.
- Tap START, place your fingertip over the correct rear camera on phone/tablet or front camera on PC, then follow the on-screen guidance until the result is displayed.
- Repeat the reading four more times, giving five readings in total for that testing state.
- Test your glucose as normal with your usual glucose device and enter the value in mmol/L. To convert mg/dL to mmol/L, divide by 18.
- Repeat across: Fasting, Pre-Meal, 0–1 hour, 1–2 hours, and Bedtime. Where possible, aim for 5–10 glucose-state timing sessions.
